The ALEV Agricultural and Industrial Union was set up in 1994. The organization includes ZAO ALEV located in the town of Dmitrovgrad in the Ulyanovsk Region, the OOO Zavolzhsky Milk Processing Plant, the main enterprise located in the town of Ulyanovsk, the OAO MS3 Koshkinsky in the Samara Region, and representative offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Chelyabinsk.
The ALEV Agricultural and Industrial Union manufactures:
- Milk products — from cheeses to baby-milk products. ALEV is one of the leading companies in this market in the Volga Region
- Soya products — the company is one of Russia’s major soya-product producers.
- Milk and Soya products for industrial purpose — Alev is a pioneer in this field with protein products such as Belkon.
